How to save a fortune when traveling

Holiday season is also the season of trips because people want to have their well-earned rest. Find out how to spend your holiday without spending too much:

1. Roaming service

Once you leave the country, the costs of your phone calls will change according to the roaming service. The best way to avoid overspending is to purchase a local SIM card when you reach your destination place. This simple trick will allow you to reach your parents, physician, or barber at West Village Barber Shop in the case of emergency!

2. Exchange of currency

Many inexperienced travelers make a mistake of exchanging their dollars to the local currency in the airport. This is the worst place to converse your money, which offers the worst currency rate. Check the rate of exchange before leaving so that you can make the best deal and save a fortune.

3. Guided tour package

Most guys come to West Village Barber Shop and ask for the whole package of services because it’s cost-efficient and time-saving. If you purchase a package of guided tours from your touristic operator, you will make a mistake. In most cases, you will pay for a boring tour in the most popular touristic sites. Look for unique and unexplored places to visit instead!

4. Travel insurance

Avoid the temptation to purchase travel insurance from your touristic operator because it will definitely hurt your budget. Although, it’s much easier to buy the whole package of services at once, the price and conditions of such travel insurance won’t be satisfactory. We recommend studying this question more thoroughly and finding time to look for a good deal!

Travel Diary: Sanjay Gandhi National Park

The Sanjay Gandhi National Park or Borivali Park whatever you wanna call it, is one of the most beautiful wildlife sanctuaries in the world. All because, it is spread across over 104 sq. km. and also because it  is the only park in the world located completely within a city limits, which is also rich in biodiversity.   To most Mumbaikars like me, the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) brings back the old memories of our childhood when our parents would take us to the park on a Sunday for a jungle safari or just an excursion to the famed Kanheri Caves (Note: they are around 2400 years old!) and not to forget those amazing school picnics. Alas, as I've grown up to be a teen, and through these years, places such as these have only remained confined to my memories. A visit to the National Park on a Tuesday, as part of my college's Environmental Visit, was to me as much about going back and living those memories again. It was about exploring the lesser known areas of the par

Mumbai? How does it feel through the eyes of a Mumbaikar?

Photograph: Maciej It's said Bombay is not a city it's a feeling…. But our good friends at Shiv Sena just wanted it changed to Mumbai… Well, that's just another story, 'Mumbai' hasn’t changed… People are the same, food is the same… and Mumbai is still a feeling that's loved to be felt… So, you're here to see Mumbai through my eyes, right? If you’re a Mumbaikar ( As we call ourselves! ) you may pretty much relate with every small stuff I need to tell about the city. And if you’ve never been to Mumbai… I’m pretty sure you'll be able to experience the thrills it has to offer just by following along. Mumbai to a majority of you is the capital of the State of Maharashtra or just the financial capital of India, Mumbai boasts of a population of over 20 million with people from different parts of the world calling it their home, just like me… Well, you may see me mention "me" a lot… cause I'm honestly a self-obsessed person. Let’s se
