How to make your road trip comfortable and safe?

Road trip is a great way to break the routine and explore the beauty of your country. Learn how to make your journey unforgettable and, what’s more important, safe.

1. Good music

Good music can make a big difference! For example, great soundtracks at West Village Barber Shop create the needed atmosphere and boost the productivity of staff. The right songs will keep you entertained during a lengthy ride and eliminate the need of listening to annoying neighbours. Take your time to choose the music you truly enjoy!

2. Non-perishable foods

If you want to make your road trip comfortable, there definitely must be food; moreover, it’s sensible to pack non-perishable foods for many reasons. Dried fruits, peanut butter, crackers, granola bars, and cereal will be very handy if you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere. Another advantage is that you won’t have to stop for getting snacks too often.

3. A lot of water

“Water is life,” this is what my expert at West Village Barber Shop always tells me. We recommend taking a lot of water with you because you can use it for various purposes (drinking, washing hands, wiping car mirrors, etc.). You should have not less than a gallon!

4. First aid kit

You never know what can happen during a road trip – burn, cut finger, or a terrible headache. This is exactly why you should always have a universal first aid kit. As a rule, it contains plasters, bandages, cleansing wipes, thermometer, antiseptic cream, and painkillers. Make sure your medicine box has these elements before you hit the road!
Keep these things in mind and have an awesome trip!

Travel Diary: Sanjay Gandhi National Park

The Sanjay Gandhi National Park or Borivali Park whatever you wanna call it, is one of the most beautiful wildlife sanctuaries in the world. All because, it is spread across over 104 sq. km. and also because it  is the only park in the world located completely within a city limits, which is also rich in biodiversity.   To most Mumbaikars like me, the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) brings back the old memories of our childhood when our parents would take us to the park on a Sunday for a jungle safari or just an excursion to the famed Kanheri Caves (Note: they are around 2400 years old!) and not to forget those amazing school picnics. Alas, as I've grown up to be a teen, and through these years, places such as these have only remained confined to my memories. A visit to the National Park on a Tuesday, as part of my college's Environmental Visit, was to me as much about going back and living those memories again. It was about exploring the lesser known areas of the par

Mumbai? How does it feel through the eyes of a Mumbaikar?

Photograph: Maciej It's said Bombay is not a city it's a feeling…. But our good friends at Shiv Sena just wanted it changed to Mumbai… Well, that's just another story, 'Mumbai' hasn’t changed… People are the same, food is the same… and Mumbai is still a feeling that's loved to be felt… So, you're here to see Mumbai through my eyes, right? If you’re a Mumbaikar ( As we call ourselves! ) you may pretty much relate with every small stuff I need to tell about the city. And if you’ve never been to Mumbai… I’m pretty sure you'll be able to experience the thrills it has to offer just by following along. Mumbai to a majority of you is the capital of the State of Maharashtra or just the financial capital of India, Mumbai boasts of a population of over 20 million with people from different parts of the world calling it their home, just like me… Well, you may see me mention "me" a lot… cause I'm honestly a self-obsessed person. Let’s se
